"Without a doubt the best thing I did to prepare me for labour. Not only did Louisa give me a range of things to try that really helped me manage the pain, but the advice, information and mental support I got meant I felt ready and able to cope with what my body had to do. Thoroughly recommend this class to anyone who is expecting." Catherine
Please note: there is no postnatal class on Wednesday 23rd October

"The environment you create in your classes means that we're able to share the highs and lows of pregnancy without judgement, and instead feel very supported, coming away each week with more knowledge and better equipped for labour." Hannah
Why yoga?
Pregnancy is the perfect time to practise yoga. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a complete beginner, it’s a time to slow down, focus the mind, and connect with your body and your baby.
My pregnancy yoga classes are specifically designed to meet the needs of your changing body. Every class includes:
* Yoga
* Breath awareness
* Functional movement
* Birth physiology
* Labour tips and techniques
* Knowing your choices
* Deep relaxation
* Time to talk
Week by week, your confidence in your body’s innate ability to birth your baby will deepen and grow. You will learn how to encourage your baby into a good position for the birth, and how to work with the energy of labour. Where a more medicalised birth is advised, the skills you learn will enable you to make informed choices and hold on to your power in the birth room.
The postnatal classes are designed to be the first exercise you do as a new mum. Your baby comes along too. You will start to regain tone in your abdominal muscles and pelvic floor, work on tense shoulders, and slowly rediscover your pre-pregnancy strength and fitness. By this stage many valuable friendships have been formed between like-minded women, and it is wonderful to see the support and encouragement they give each other during these tiring, often challenging and truly exhilarating months of early parenthood.
